The London Grid for Learning have provided the GigajamVLE solution to all their connected schools in 2011. Gigajam built a solution hosted on the LGfL servers providing security to their schools and easy access via their single sign on protocol.

The first 10 lessons are available to all schools for guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.

LGfL was set up by the 33 London Boroughs in 2001. London Grid for Learning is a community of schools and local authorities committed to technology to enhance teaching and learning.

The Mix Luton is the Music Education Hub for Luton, led by Luton Music Service. It is a group of schools and music organisations who are working together to provide the best possible music-making opportunities for children and young people in the Luton area.

Gigajam was introduced in September 2014 and is available to all schools in Luton via the Online Music School. The music school is accessible to all pupils in school and from home via the web. It forms a part of the Music Services’ delivery of its core role as a music hub which is to provide quality first access opportunities. Gigajam is currently hosted at Sundon Park Junior School.

The Highland Council started using Gigajam in 2005 and are now in their thirteenth very successful musical year. They use Gigajam across seventy six primary schools within the local authority. It is a large rural authority and they were looking for solutions that enabled greater access to musical instrument tuition.

As a provider of education services to the National Offenders Management Service, People Plus were looking for innovative ways to serve offenders learning and rehabilitation needs in the UK. Gigajam’s secure digital music school platform was introduced in 2017 and has already been a success. The first learners received qualifications from the University of West London/London College of Music in the Winter Exams of 2017.

To help new users of Casio keyboards get started, Casio approached Gigajam to create an online keyboard course. The result is The Casio Music academy which enables Casio users to learn how to play the keyboard online, anytime, anywhere. The academy is packed full of videos, play-along exercises, and interactive backing tracks. All Casio Keyboards and Pianos come with 10 Free on-line lessons. This was first established in 2012.
